Zika Killed Me

Thanks for sending me packages, I truly love them but I am bummed because I still havent got the camera or package. maybe you can track it and see where it is. Also Transfers are the week of the 1st so I hope I get the package before I get transfered off, if I even get transfered haha. I hope to stay in black rock with E. Merrell. 

This week was one of the worst weeks I have ever had on my mission. Monday after I emailed you I went home and felt super sick. I found out why all last week my stomach was hurting me and I had headaches... it was because I got the zika virus. It is spread by mosquitoes. On tuesday I woke up with a red rash all over my body from head to toe. I felt like crap.. But I had the lesson for district meeting. I went down to the church taught the lesson. Then went home and slept all day. I have never felt so weak in my life. On wednesday it was much of the same. And all week I was tired weak and itchy from the rash. On friday it started going away. And I prayed that it would be gone by saturday because Leila asked me to baptize her. 

Miracle on Saturday I woke up and felt great. the baptismal service went well. And the spirit was strong! I had to baptize her twice because her hair didnt go under hah:)

Sunday was good. and this week we have been getting back to work hard to cover for all the days we missed because of zika.

Joy is still doing great she will be baptized on May 28th. I am excited for her. She came to leilas baptism and loved it. 

I dont have much photos cause I dont have a camera. But I am glad sister brady sent you some photos of the baptism.
