I don't even know where to start holy moli. I am so happy, and so happy for you guys!!
Well for this week it was another blessed week. Wow like I have never seen so many blessings and things happen in my life. The lord is so very good to us. And I know it all comes from our obedience and from hard work.
So first off Lynda is all set for baptism and couldn't be more excited. We will baptize her on saturday at 6:30 pm. So about 3:30 your time we will be doin that.
Also I had the coolest spiritual experience this week. in so many ways. First in district meeting I taught about the purpose of us missionaries and why we came out here. (kinda a pump up lesson) The spirit was so strong. I said the reason why I served is to be like my dad. And because of my patriarchal blessing. I shared some of the things it said and the whole time I was crying because the spirit was so strong. Such a great district meeting.
So early in the week President Herrington called me and called me to be 1st Counselor/assistant in the branch presidency. And so this sunday during branch conference at church they announced that. After church I had one of the most spiritual experiences I have ever had. The Mission pres. Herrington gave me a priesthood blessing. I wont go into detail of what he said. But some of the things that he talked about was you guys and the love I have for the people. President even started crying during the blessing and so was I.
It made me think to all the times dad gave me blessings. And I am grateful for all the times you did dad.
Well besides that we are seeing miracles happen daily. We were able to set 2 solid baptismal dates for march. And also this week at church was amazing because we were able to get 6 investigators there. 4 less active members. And 2 Recent converts. Such a solid week!!!
My favorite scriptures for this week are
2 nephi 2:25
mosiah 2:41
Alma 41:10
"Happiness comes from being Obedient"
And I could never be Happier!
Also cant believe I will be 19 this week. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!
Love you all so much!!
Elder Dixon
