Blessings are Breezing In

I don't even know where to start holy moli. I am so happy, and so happy for you guys!!

Well for this week it was another blessed week. Wow like I have never seen so many blessings and things happen in my life. The lord is so very good to us. And I know it all comes from our obedience and from hard work.

So first off Lynda is all set for baptism and couldn't be more excited.  We will baptize her on saturday at 6:30 pm. So about 3:30 your time we will be doin that.

Also I had the coolest spiritual experience this week. in so many ways. First in district meeting I taught about the purpose of us missionaries and why we came out here. (kinda a pump up lesson) The spirit was so strong. I said the reason why I served is to be like my dad. And because of my patriarchal blessing. I shared some of the things it said and the whole time I was crying because the spirit was so strong. Such a great district meeting.

So early in the week President Herrington called me and called me to be 1st Counselor/assistant in the branch presidency. And so this sunday during branch conference at church they announced that. After church I had one of the most spiritual experiences I have ever had. The Mission pres. Herrington gave me a priesthood blessing. I wont go into detail of what he said. But some of the things that he talked about was you guys and the love I have for the people. President even started crying during the blessing and so was I.
It made me think to all the times dad gave me blessings. And I am grateful for all the times you did dad.

Well besides that we are seeing miracles happen daily. We were able to set 2 solid baptismal dates for march. And also this week at church was amazing because we were able to get 6 investigators there. 4 less active members. And 2 Recent converts. Such a solid week!!!

My favorite scriptures for this week are
2 nephi 2:25
 mosiah 2:41
 Alma 41:10
"Happiness comes from being Obedient"
And I could never be Happier!

Also cant believe I will be 19 this week. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Love you all so much!!

Happy Week!

Well this week was awesome. Lynda is still solid for baptism! still trying to meet with her family. I got a picture with her this week. She came to church on valentines day so that was a super success!
Hmm what else so this week we had an awesome service project. One member Melissa is so funny! she bought some land in pure jungle and we spent all of Saturday clearing the jungle for her new house to be built. IT was the bomb we used machetes. and just chopped down bush all day!

Saturday night was so fun! we Had a branch social. The senior couple the bradys cooked sloppy joes for everyone! we actually got a huge turn out. Like I had like 10 investigators there. And a few less actives! it was such and awesome blessing the lord is really blessing me and my comps right now!

Thats about it! I will send a bunch of pics I took from this week!

A lot of the pictures were on Sunday! My tie is super awesome it says love and has lots of hearts it fit in perfect on valentines day lol :)

Also kobes and kaits love you guys and love your emails. you both are getting so old haha. Glad the Eagles are winning! And that my legacy is still alive haha jk i got to be more humble.

this week was the bomb. Got  a baptismal date with lynda, was made a district leader, learning how to cook, And working my butt off.

Quote of the week from a Rasta: "I am gonna go Bathe, Roll a BIG FAT BOB MARLEY, Chill under the stars, SAY F-the world, And I will be at CHURCH on Sunday!" close quote.

haha such a good week.

The Holy Ghost is Real

First off so jealous of you guys going to the Provo Temple! I would die to go there. It looks so awesome! And I bet the spirit is so strong there.

So this week was actually really good. I stopped feeling down about some things going on and I just went to work! I have been working really hard on some personal things this week and the more humble I can become the more the spirit can be present. I really worked on it this week and we are seeing much success.

This week some of my favorite scriptures I read and also memorized is
Alma 7:13
3 nephi 5:13
D&C 84; 85
D&C 88: 77-78

We had some miracles happen this week as well. We have been trying really hard to get members to come teaching with us. The church has some strict rules about elders seeing any women by themselves and we always need a member to be present. Also it helps because members can relate well with these people.

Well to make a long story short on Thursday we were able to get 4 member lessons with 4 DIFFERENT members!! it was so amazing the lord works in mysterious ways. Definitely a blessing

One thing that we have been praying for is to find and meet those prepared people so last Sunday we were on our way to Dawn's to eat. We were hungry and drained from a long day at Church because every Sunday every class is basically missionary run. I teach Gospel Principle class and then me and my comp trade off each week teaching Priesthood. And we also give talks a lot and help do the sacrament as well. So church is awesome but after it is over we are drained from teaching.
So we were on our way to dawns but we felt the need to find one person on the way. It was a long shot but we stopped at one house. A lady came out here name was lynda. As sweat was dripping down and smiles on our face we shared the message of the restoration the best we knew how. After we finished she said we were an answer to prayers. and that she has been looking for truth her whole life. we had the opportunity to teach her the plan of salvation this week. the spirit was so strong and as we shared more and more of why we are here and where we are going. The light bulb kept clicking in lynda's face. She literally said out loud wow it all makes sense now. This week she came to church yesterday! She loved it. As I taught about the holy ghost in gospel principles, she raised her hand and she shared with us the story of us finding her to the class. She told us that she knew it was the Holy Ghost that was giving her a warm feeling the whole time we shared the message with her. She told us she knows the Holy Ghost was there to bear witness that what two hungry, tired missionaries shared is true.

We are going back to see her this week and hope to set up a baptismal date! She is a grandma and she wants us to teach her husband and all her kids and grandkids so we are very blessed to be able to have found her.

The lord works in mysterious ways.

I love this work and see miracles happen all the time. Honestly wouldn't want to be any where else.
