George to George

Well everyone There was some crazy things that happened this week!! First off.. The five investigators are doing great!! There are also record breaking numbers happening here in Georgetown! This week we were able to get 8 investigators to Church. And the church was full. Biggest turn out ever. We had a whopping 37 people at church!! it was amazing. The church was completely full! I also spoke in church. Great Sabbath day!

Kiet is doing so great! He is preparing for the Priesthood.
This week Sister Phillips needed some help to kill a pig for her anniversary. So we went and killed and skinned it for her. It was super fun.

Well there is also some big news. We got transfer calls and I am leaving the island. It is going to be sad because of all the success we are seeing. But God knows best. He is the Gardener here and he will plant us and prune us to become the best we can be.

I am flying out Wednesday to go to St. Georges, GRENADA! I am super excited! My new comp is Elder King. He is a great missionary. Also from Utah, I came out with him.  I also got made a Zone Leader so I am excited!

That is about all for me, tonight one of my investigators is sad I am leaving so he is going to kill his biggest goat and we are going to have a bbq. That should be fun.

Well I give you all my love, and prayers

Miracles

Hey Hey Guys!!

This week I was able to see the lord work miracles for me. The lord sees how hard we work and he blessed us with 5 investigators at church this week. It was amazing. The church was full! biggest turn out in Georgtown in a long time! We had 31 people there! I am so blessed to be able to serve God. and to be apart of building this kingdom forward.

Some other miracles that happened this week were that we were able to build a guys house. He is planning on getting married and joining the church soon.

Also here is a funny story one day we were out walking.. and trying to find this guy we talked to the other night named jim. We literally walked village to village trying to find jim. We met a lot of people. Though we were not able to find jim. Jim helped us find lots of people to teach. I think I am going to start contacting people by asking them if they know someone... HA I will try this week by starting off hey do you know a kobe that lives around here. And then tie it in to the restoration!

Also the other day we were liming out in the shade after contacting for a few hours. People would occasionaly pass us. So we started to stop them. One dude was holding this bag full of Bread fruit.. I turned to elder marae and was like "by there fruits you shall know them" so I was like hey dude wagwan? he said "me der me der" i was like cool man can we have some bread fruit he came and sat down. He gave us some fruit it was sweet! then we shared the gospel with him! he was very interested and wants to change his life! From now on I am only talking to people who have fruits!! by your fruits ye shall know them!:)

well thats about it for now! Keith is doing great we are focusing on getting him the priesthood soon!!

love you all.

The Greatest Weekend

The Browns got back from their Temple trip and they were so blessed. They had the greatest experience ever!! Bro Brown looked all lit up and like a whole new person!! It was amazing! The Temple brings so many blessings!!!

So this week was seriously so cool. Friday we spent all day making steps in the jungle by some banana trees so that everyone can get down to the baptism.

Saturday was the baptism of Kieth Homer! It was so spiritual and such a cool experience!! The pictures just don't do it justice!! Kieth is such a cool guy! His mom was there and was in tears she felt the spirit so strong now she even meets with us and listens to the lessons! Miracles are happening here in Georgetown.

Sunday was crazy to say the least. We had a Rasta man come to church. And he got up and bore his testimony by singing a reggie song he made about Pres. Packer and the Restoration. He is crazy. Then this lady got up and told everyone how mean the church is to her and how she hates God! it was so sad.

But all in all the confirmation went good!

Thats about it for this week! Love you all -

Priesthood Power

Hey guys so this week was great! I don't know if kobe or dad remembered but last week we decided we would all pray and see how we can be better priesthood holders. So this week I have been trying to pray that I can know how to be a better priesthood holder. I waited and listened for an answer every day and would pray frequently asking god how I can improve as a priesthood holder.

Yesterday afternoon the answer came. It was a talk about submitting my will to the father. it was amazing. It made me think of all the ways I can submit even more. One of which I want to improve the way I speak. I want to make every single moment count. This last year went by way to fast.

After the devotional I was listening to, during the closing song I was over come with the spirit and the thoughts of when I gave my first priesthood blessing in the camping trailer over a year ago, and being so nervous and not truly comprehending what the priesthood means. Until this last week when I was able to give a blessing and watching the words flow from my mouth and feeling and hearing the spirit do the talking. It is so amazing to hold the priesthood of god. I am so grateful for it! my testimony grows each day towards the priesthood power.

This week Keith will be baptized it is going to be so sweet! We went up in the mountains and found the spot we will do it! it is truly the waters of mormon! here is a pic of it where we are going to do it on saturday.

Also this week at church was empty we had 10 people at church not including the missionaries. Because to of the families are at the temple! woot woot it is so amazing they were able to go!

Well all is well here in Georgetown! The comp is great the work is great and I am trying to become what God wants me to become!

I know the church is true and I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to serve each day!!!
